JAPANESE SWORDS I've been interested in Japanese swords since childhood and have collected a few nice examples over the years. The oshigata of the Yasuhiro katana on the website is from my own private collection. I chose Japanese Studies as a minor subject at University to specifically aid my study of these fascinating works of art. My particular interest is in the last swords made for war, between the late 1920's and the end of WWII, at the Yasukuni Shrine.
